Wrestling season is fast approaching. After a great 2008 wrestling season, we are looking forward to continued improvement in 2009. We have a large group of wrestlers at several different skill levels returning and entering this season. The future of Rhinelander wrestling looks very bright as these youngsters progress. I am looking forward to working with the kids and watching them grow as wrestlers and people. We have a large amount of parental support which is the key to a successful program. I will be looking for more involvement from the High school team this year to support the limited number of volunteer coaches we have. I believe that they can offer a lot to our program and look forward to their support in the wrestling room. Well the snow is about to fly and it is time to roll out the mats, strap on the shoes, and tighten the headgear. See you on the mat.

Rhinelander had 12 Wrestlers compete at the Badger State Games in Watertown. We had 6 champions, 2 Seconds & 2 Thirds.
